François-Xavier Boulin

François-Xavier created effective IP in April 2019.

He holds a Master’s degree in Private Law (Paris II Assas) and a DEA in Intellectual Property Law (University of Nantes) and was admitted to the Paris Bar in February 2003.

François-Xavier assists leading French and foreign companies and start-ups in the development of their offer (protection of rights, GDRP compliance, commercial strategy and contracts), in particular in the health and telecoms sectors.

He was named “Next Generation Lawyer – France” in Personal Data Law by LEGAL 500 in 2019 and is ranked as a “Reputable Practice” by Décideurs Juridiques magazine in Trademark Law, Personal Data and eHealth in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

Oscar ATTIVISSIMO

Oscar ATTIVISSIMO joined effective IP in May 2024, after completing several internships with the firm in 2020 and 2021 which naturally led to his collaboration as a lawyer.

Holder of a Master’s Degree in digital law from the University Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas, Oscar gained practical experience during internships with prestigious law firms specializing in new technology law, as well as with the legal head office IT of a major international banking group.

Oscar advises and assists companies of all sizes, in both French and English, bringing his skills on crucial issues such as GDPR compliance, contractual management of projects (especially IT and commercial) an the protection of intellectual property rights.

Oscar was admitted to the Paris Bar on January 24, 2024.
